Protein G Chromstar® 4FF Affinity Chromatography Resins

Protein G Chromstar® 4FF is an affinity chromatography medium prepared by coupling Protein G to the Chromstar® matrix through CNBr activation. Protein G can bind to the Fc region of various mammalian IgGs, but also has weak affinity to its Fab region. Compared with Protein A, Protein G has a broader binding spectrum. Therefore, Protein G Chromstar® 4FF can be used to separate and purify immunoglobulin and its fragments from different liquid samples (such as cell culture medium or serum, etc.). Protein G Chromstar® 4FF can also be used to isolate immune complexes.
