MaXtar® Protein G Affinity Chromatography Resins

MaXtar® Protein G is an affinity chromatography resin prepared by conjugating Protein G to a MaXtar matrix. Protein G can bind to the Fc region of a variety of mammalian IgGs, and also exhibits a weaker affinity for Fab region.

Protein G exhibits a broader binding spectrum than Protein A. Therefore, MaXtar Protein G can be used to separate and purify immunoglobulins and their fragments from different liquid samples (such as cell culture medium or serum). MaXtar Protein G can also be used to isolate immune complexes.

Features of MaXtar® Protein G Affinity Chromatography Resins

Affinity chromatography resins for antibody purification:

  • Chromatography resin based on an improved agarose-based matrix.

  • With wide pH range resistance and good chemical stability.
