BioLink Attended 2021 Suzhou Wuzhong Taihu Lake Economic and Trade Cooperation Fair

On Oct. 18, 2021 Suzhou Wuzhong Taihu Lake Economic and Trade Cooperation Fair (hereinafter referred to as "economic and trade fair") was grandly held on the shore of the beautiful Taihu Lake. Hundreds of famous research institutes, investment institutions, and enterprises at home and abroad from various industries came here to cooperate with Wuzhong and seek common development. Bio-Link is an important domestic supplier of single-use biopharmaceutical systems. The General Manager of our company, Dr. Chen Lin, was invited to attend the fair and signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Suzhou Luzhi Town for industrial projects.

At the fair, Bio-Link signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Luzhi Town (Suzhou) for the headquarters construction project of the company's advanced biopharmaceutical equipment business, which aims to build a comprehensive high-tech industrial center integrating R&D, manufacturing, application, and sales in Wuzhong in the future. The first phase of this investment project requires leased plants of 6,000 square meters, with a total investment of 100 million CNY.

Since established, the company has been continuously integrating the achievements of university, industry, and research cooperation from upstream and downstream of the industry chain, and has a full set of technology reserve and investment layout of bioprocessing products. The industrial center will allow Bio-Link to further create its upstream and downstream innovative products and solutions. While continuing to promote process innovation, expand the product portfolios, and overall improve the supply quality, Bio-Link aims to foster an ecosystem where the company's growth is driven by its R&D innovation, manufacturing and service capabilities.

With the theme of "Building Dreams in Wuzhong and Enlightening the Future", this trade fair has been held for 17 consecutive years as a platform for attracting talents worldwide to Wuzhong. During the fair, a total of 85 projects were signed, with a total investment of 73.564 billion CNY. 42 projects were signed on the stage in 7 batches at this fair. Wuzhong District is located on the shore of Taihu Lake, in the Southern Suzhou, with a land area of 745 square kilometers and a water area of 1486 square kilometers (Taihu Lake), as well as more than 180 kilometers of Taihu Lake shoreline, known as "the most beautiful scenery of Taihu Lake".

In the evaluation of high-quality development of small and medium-sized cities in China in 2021, Wuzhong District ranked 9th among the top 100 districts in comprehensive strength, 9th among the top 100 districts in green development, and 9th among the top 100 districts in science and technology innovation. According to the report, in the first half of this year, Wuzhong District achieved a gross regional product of 71.3 billion CNY, with an increase of 15.1%; a general public budget revenue of 13.17 billion CNY, with an increase of 20%; and a total industrial output value above the scale of 98.31 billion CNY, with an increase of 32.2%. 

The developed industrial economy has not only accelerated the development of Wuzhong, but also attracted numerous high-level talents overseas and domestic to start their own business here. Up to now, the total number of talents working and living in Wuzhong has exceeded 312,000, and that of various high-level talents has exceeded 17,000.
