MaXtar® rProtein A is an affinity chromatography resin made by coupling recombinant protein A to the MaXtar® base matrix for isolation through specific interactions between antigens and antibodies. The chromatographic resin is used to purify monoclonal and polyclonal antibodies. The recombinant protein A is produced by E.coli and engineered through directional coupling to enhance its binding capacity while maintaining its specific binding to lgG Fc fragment. Epoxy based coupling ensures a low ligand shedding.
Affinity chromatography resins for antibody purification:
Chromatography resin based on an improved agarose-based matrix.
With wide pH range resistance and good chemical stability.
