A variety of membrane materials are available for different application scenarios. There are two kinds of cut-off membranes in the perfusion culture bag, which are divided into two pore sizes: 1.2um and 5um for different cell diameters.
The 5um cut-off membrane has good biocompatibility and high strength. It can be used for cell culture such as CHO cells, hybridoma cells, insect cells, etc. Generally, a cell density of 1-5 x107cell/ml or more can be obtained.
The 1.2um cut-off membrane has good flexibility and is suitable for HEK293 cells, NK cells and T cells. The membrane material is light and thin but has good flexibility, and the shear force on the cells during the culture process is lower.
