Maxtar® HR Resins for Ion Exchange Chromatography

MaXtar® Q/SP HR is a series of high resolution exchange chromatography resin that can separate different molecules by leveraging their differences in the nature and magnitude of charge under specific conditions. The chromatography resin can be well suited for the separation and purification of various biomolecules, such as recombinant proteins, antibodies, nucleic acids, viruses and virus-like particles, and polysaccharides.

Features of Maxtar® HR Ion Exchange Chromatography

Compared to traditional exchange chromatography resin, MaXtar® Q/SP HR exhibits superior performance:

  • The improved MaXtar® base matrix has higher rigidity. 

  • This helps to achieve higher process flow velocities under lower back pressure, improving process efficiency.

  • By upgrading the ligand coupling method, the dynamic binding capacity of the chromatography resin is increased.

  • Finer particle size for higher resolution of chromatography resin.
